Winter Soup Recipe

Soups On!


There’s a chill in the air and that means it’s officially soup season! This is one of my favorite times because there is nothing better than filling your home with the aroma of a delicious, warm soup.


In our household, this 7 Can Chicken Taco Soup by @togetherasafamilblog is a staple. It pairs perfectly with the bit game, cooler evenings and of course your favorite fall sweater.


Gather the following for this hearty dish

🥣 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed)

🥣1 can pinto beans (drained and rinsed)

🥣1 can petite diced tomatoes (undrained)

🥣1 can sweet corn (drained)

🥣1 can (12.5 oz) chicken breast (drained and flaked)

🥣1 can (10 oz) green enchilada sauce

🥣1 can (14 oz) low-sodium chicken broth

🥣1 packet taco seasoning

🥣1/2 tsp cumin

🥣1/2 tsp chili powder

🥣1/2 tsp garlic powder


Once you have your ingredients, combine them all into a large pot & bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and let simmer for at least 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally.


Serve with tortilla chips, shredded cheese, sour cream & avocado!
