Summer peaches and cream pie

Looking for a quick and absolutely delicious summer recipe? This summer peaches and cream pie is a favorite and one of my most requested recipes

Here is what you need to make this crowd favorite summer peaches and cream pie

  • ¾” c flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 pkg 3 oz dry vanilla pudding (Cook & Serve, not instant)

  • 1 egg

  • ½ c milk

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 1 29 oz can peaches (well drained with 3 tbs juice reserved) You can also use fresh peaches if you have them.

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

How to make it

Step 1

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, dry vanilla pudding, egg, milk, and butter.

Step 2

Then beat with a mixer for 2 minutes and pour into a greased 9” pie pan.

Step 3

Arrange peach slices on top of batter. Beat cream cheese, sugar and peach juice.

Step 4

Spoon on top of batter in the center of the pie leaving a 1” margin around the edge.

Step 5

Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top.

Step 6

Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
