How to create the perfect fall tablespace

While it may be tempting to skip right to the big show (CHRISTMAS!) there are so many amazing fall decor options and we just CAN’T overlook the opportunity to decorate for Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is such a beautiful time when families gather around the table, break bread together and reflect on their blessings. At Mount Hope Market, we believe that your decor should reflect that!

Here are a few tips and of course some inspiration on how to create a fall tablescape

Step 1: Plan ahead

We all love a good shopping trip don't get me wrong, but planning ahead can save you a ton of time and money. Take note of what decor you already have on hand and make a list of what you need to grab from Mount Hope Market to finish your tablescape. Pumpkins and greenery are a most have, so make sure you add them to the list

Step 2: Layer, Layer, Layer

Adding layers gives your tablescape domination. Here I have added a small throw that cozies up the space and makes the table feel warm and inviting.

Step 3 Add height

It is important when adding ideas to keep in mind what you are decorating for, If you are putting together a tablescape for a dinner party it is best to keep the height below eye level to allow conversations to still happen easily without having to look around a large centerpiece.

Step 4 Accessorize

It's the little touches that tie the space together, so don't forget to accessorize. We used a small pumpkin with a simple tag here to make our guests feel special and add a little something extra. I love to add greenery and small accents when possible they truly help bring it all together.
